The Para Hills Philatelic Society was founded in 1970. From the initial meeting on 7th June that was attended by 28 people, the Society grew rapidly to a membership of 104 by the end of that year. While the current membership is not as numerous, members are well known for their quality collections and philatelic knowledge.
Several of our members have featured as award winners for their contributions to philately, and some have won awards in competitions at State, National and International levels, while others are avid social collectors. If you are looking for answers to your questions related to collecting or your collection, there is a wealth of experience and expertise available for you to draw on at the society.
Meetings are held monthly with displays of significant philatelic material a regular feature.
Participation of members is always encouraged, and visitors and new members are always welcome.
