Welcome to the South Australian Philatelic Council

The South Australian Philatelic Council was established in 1950, and is the SA & NT philatelists’ representative body to the Australian Philatelic Federation (APF), which is a member of the Federation Internationale de Philatelie (FIP) and the Federation of Inter-Asian Philately (FIAP).

The Council membership consists of representatives from 20 metropolitan and 9 country clubs and societies, as well as one representative from local trade and one from Australia Post.

Council members meet quarterly at SAPHIL House to represent philatelic societies, stamp clubs, stamp dealers and interested individuals, and the management committee meet bi-monthly.
