Meets: Edwardstown Baptist Church Community Centre, Corner Rothersay & Dorene Street, St Marys

Bi-monthly (ex Dec and Jan): 1st & 3rd Friday from 6.30 pm

The Community Philatelic Society was established on 29 October 1959. The first meeting was held in the garage of our first President, Arthur (Chapie) Underdown. Twelve people attended the first meeting, including Mr Nick Yelland who is our club Patron. Nick worked tirelessly in the pursuit of philately, and always in the interest of Community Philatelic Society. Over the years the club moved from the garage to The Toc-H-Hall in Edwardstown, which the club purchased and later sold, donating the money to the SAPC for the purposes of upgrading SAPHIL House. Currently we meet at Edwardstown Baptist Church, cnr Rothesay & Dorene Streets, St Marys.

We are a lively bunch of philatelists of varying ages with a variety of expertise; from experts to the novice, all are welcome at our club.
